Shradha ke Vibhag

अदेशकाले यद्दानमपात्रेभ्यश्च दीयते।\n\nअसत्कृतमवज्ञातं तत्तामसमुदाहृतम्।।17.22।।

तिरस्कार से, सत्कार बिना,\n दें दान जो किसी कुपात्र को,\n जो अनुचित देश-काल में दें,\n तामसी दान कहते उसको ||17.22 ||\n

17.22 The gift that is given at a wrong place and time, to unworthy persons, without respect or with insult is declared to be Tamasic.

Bhakti Yog

समः शत्रौ च मित्रे च तथा मानापमानयोः।\n\nशीतोष्णसुखदुःखेषु समः सङ्गविवर्जितः।।12.18।।

समान शत्रु-मित्र में होता,\n समान मान-अपमान में भी |\n सर्दी-गर्मी या सुख दुख हों,\n समान सब में, आसक्ति नहीं || 12.18 ||\n

12.18 He who is the same to foe and friend, and also in honour and dishonour, who is the same in cold and heat and in pleasure and pain, who is free from attachment.

Bhagwat Prapti

अग्निर्ज्योतिरहः शुक्लः षण्मासा उत्तरायणम्। तत्र प्रयाता गच्छन्ति ब्रह्म ब्रह्मविदो जनाः।।8.24।।

छ: महीने उत्तरायण के, अग्नि, ज्योति, दिन, शुक्लपक्ष हो । ब्रह्मवेत्ता उस काल जाये, प्राप्त करे वह तभी ब्रह्म को ।। 8.24 ।।

8.24 Fire, light daytime, the bright fortnight, the six months of the northern path of the sun (the northern solstice) departing then (by these) men who know Brahman go to Brahman.

Shradha ke Vibhag

अफलाकाङ्क्षिभिर्यज्ञो विधिदृष्टो य इज्यते।\n\nयष्टव्यमेवेति मनः समाधाय स सात्त्विकः।।17.11।।

फल की आकांक्षा किए बिना,\n विधिविधान से करें यज्ञ जो |\n कर्तव्य मानकर ही करते,\n सात्विक माने उसी यज्ञ को || 17.11 ||\n

17.11 That sacrifice which is offered by men without desire for reward as enjoined by the ordinance (scripture), with a firm faith that to do so is a duty, is Sattvic or pure.

Divya Gyan

श्रेयान्द्रव्यमयाद्यज्ञाज्ज्ञानयज्ञः परन्तप |  सर्वं कर्माखिलं पार्थ ज्ञाने परिसमाप्यते।।4.33।।

ज्ञानयज्ञ श्रेयस्कर होता,\n द्रव्यमय यज्ञ की तुलना में |\n     अर्जुन, पूर्ण  रूप से होता,\n  सब कर्मों का अन्त ज्ञान में । |\n 4.33 ।।

4.33 Superior is wisdom-sacrifice to the sacrifice with objects, O Parantapa (scorcher of the foes). All actions in their entirely, O Arjuna, culminate in knowledge.

Shri Bhagwan ka Aishwarya

बुद्धिर्ज्ञानमसंमोहः क्षमा सत्यं दमः शमः।\n\nसुखं दुःखं भवोऽभावो भयं चाभयमेव च।।10.4।।

बुद्धि-ज्ञान हैं, असम्मोह भी,\n क्षमा, सत्य, दम , शम , सुख, दुख भी |\n होना और न होना भी हैं,\n होते हैं भय और अभय भी ।। 10.4 ।।\n

10.4 Intellect, wisdom, non-delusion, forgiveness, truth, self-restraint, calmness, happiness, pain, existence or birth, non-existence or death, fear and also fearlessness.
